Every Friday evening at 7:00 pm, all screens in entire Zakryto turn into the same channel. This channel is called Tupia-TV. The government communicates with its inhabitants in this way. People are obligated to watch this weekly announcement. It's quite hard to avoid it anyway. All TV-screens and public screens on the streets, in the cinema etc., turn into this news program.
The news program is hosted by the President himself. He always gives a speech in the capital, Turtupia. This speech is broadcasted live. If people are outside while the President is giving his speech, and people are not listening to the public screens, they will be arrested by the local guardians.
This is the intro of our TUPIA-TV. When this comes up, every screen lights up (little or big). And everyone watches it, it's very important for them.
